Credit where credit is due…

For all the bitching I do about Metro, I’m just going to take a moment and call attention to the very reasonable and sane decision Metro made to run 8-car trains on the Blue and Orange lines while they get this train-separation system glitch figured out.

As much of a pain in the ass it is that they can only run trains one at a time through the tunnel, I’d rather have them doing that than risking a crash, and the 8-car trains seem like a reasonable accommodation to the people whose commutes are going to be disrupted.

I’ll save the bitching about why there aren’t 8-car trains all the time for another occasion…
