Leaving DC for Chicago

No, not me (sorry) – the gun lawsuits. Now that the Heller battle is over (though it seems like the city is determined to get challenged as quickly as possible) the NRA has moved its focus on to Chicago. SCOTUSBlog has a roundup of the quintet of new suits, which I offer you a link to just in case you want to follow the traveling circus as it heads off to the north-west.

Well I used to say something in my profile about not quite being a “tinker, tailor, soldier, or spy” but Tom stole that for our about us page, so I guess I’ll have to find another way to express that I am a man of many interests.

Hmm, guess I just did.

My tastes run the gamut from sophomoric to Shakespeare and in my “professional” life I’ve sold things, served beer, written software, and carried heavy objects… sometimes at the same place. It’s that range of loves and activities that makes it so easy for me to love DC – we’ve got it all.

  1. Lovely. DC hires crummy lawyers, gets it’s ass handed it in a horribly written decision that ignores half an amendment, and suddenly it’s our problem up here. Thanks a lot.

  2. Please pardon my poor grammar in the above post, which was written in a fit of annoyance.
