Headed out to Nigeria just now, I saw the long-ass lines for the plebeian security lines and I took a quick trip to the Diamond Lanes near baggage carousel #7.

Oh. My. God! What a difference.

Now that’s how security should be. I was the only one in security check, and I was through in less than a minute. Its so heaven I took a comment card and must commend the TSA – not an act I ever through I would do.

By the way, it sounds like we both have the IAD to SFO lifestyle, though these days it seems to be more a IAD to OAK with all the fare hikes.

I’ve seen these lines at Oakland airport too, right next to the lines for everyone else. Something tells me that when it gets busy in Oakland, folks look for the shortest lines, diamonds be damned.

Glad to know that Dulles has theirs off in a different section. These will stop me from eying the Clear lines with want.

last time i was at an airport with the three different lines, they all converged to one TSA officer. go figure.

Looks like some bigwig at TSA must be a skier! Next up, Double Diamond lanes with slalom rope lines!
