If you're fucked in a wheelchair or crutches, that's why there is an elevator (not for the lazy as may people assume). Everybody makes light of the Mitch Hedberg joke, but for fuck's sake, two out... constantly... they just become stairs, open the other one up.... or concrete them in... it doesn't make it any better or worse... I'm glad I abandoned Metro for the summer (and possibly the fall)... too expensive! (yes, it costs me $8 round trip, plus $4.75 for Metro parking at Glenmont for a grand total of $12.75 per day... I motorcycle in... ~$4 for gas, and $2 for all day parking... $6, half the price...). Metro would have to really, seriously start to get their proverbial "shit together" to get me back and riding regularly... good luck for you VA folks.
