I've seen a few small branches on the road, but the association staff is out in their heavy duty rain gear. A trip out to Home Depot around 11:30 or so today was largely uneventful. Their staff was glad to be inside, and the store was fairly empty. Me, I just needed a garbage disposal to replace our dead one. I spent the noon hour upside down in the sink trying to get it all put together, only to find out I needed a plumber to shorten our drain pipe, as I don't mess with PVC glue after some bad experiences in the summertime. Massive amounts of runoff water have been seen collecting in storm drains and I have had to clear a slurry of mud twice from my own back-door drain to avoid rising waters in the cellar. Film at 11.
