Corruption? In DC? Never!

Well. Okay, not never. Just sometimes. Okay, a lot of the time. Today’s classic example is this parking scam at Eastern High in DC. A couple people would buy off the guards and then charge people to park in the High School’s lot. The two guards, hoping for $1500 over two months, are instead going to spend 2-3 years in prison. FAIL!

I live and work in the District of Columbia. I write at We Love DC, a blog I helped start, I work at Technolutionary, a company I helped start, and I’m happy doing both. I enjoy watching baseball, cooking, and gardening. I grow a mean pepper, keep a clean scorebook, and wash the dishes when I’m done. Read Why I Love DC.

  1. This reminded me of the famous saying – “Being good in business is the most fascinating kind of art…. Making money is art and working is art and good business is the best art.” (Andy Warhol)!!
