  1. Thanks for the shout out! A friend of mine told me that DC has launched an initiative to reduce the number of pedestrian versus car incidents. I not only saw this at 14th and P, but also at an intersection in Woodley Park where a car was pulled over and ticketed for stopping in the middle of a crosswalk. I poked around the web for more info, but couldn’t find any releases. But I will definitely be cognizant when I’m crossing from now on!
