		<description>Writing to Mayor Fenty and Councilman Gray cannot hurt. Particularly as there are some small DC citizens and neighborhood groups that claim they were not given adequate hearing about the measure.

Previous Inaugurations have placed such a financial burden on the city that in 2005 the feds asked DC to divert millions of homeland security grants to cover the infrastructure costs. Now a measure that can help local businesses accommodate the biggest boom in DC tourism in years is being poo-pooed for &quot;security reasons&quot;. How George Bush!</description>
