Yeah, good luck with THAT. I’d be upset that DC was cutting VA off but honestly, I really don’t give a crap. For all you diehard Inauguralites, have fun playing in traffic…

Having lived in the DC area for ten years, Ben still loves to wander the city with his wife, shooting lots of photos and exploring all the latest exhibits and galleries. A certified hockey fanatic, he spends some time debating the Washington Capitals club with friends – but everyone knows of his three decade love affair with the Pittsburgh Penguins.

  1. Clarification, sorta: I-66 and 395 will be open for use by emergency vehicles, limos, taxis and (I think) charter buses. No word on how Metro’s going to work with connecting their Metrobus routes together. I’d assume using those arteries as well, but with WMATA, one never knows…

  2. Sweet jeebus.

I was here back in 2001 and 2005 when Dubya was sworn in, and nothing like this happened. I believe this is pronounced OMGWTFBBQ?!

  3. Also, was I totally out of whack flashing on the end of Back to the Future when Doc Brown flips down his awesome aluminum future shades and says, “Where we’re going, we don’t need roads.” ?
