Finding the cheap eats

I’m not 100% convinced; the selection seems a little slim and contains suggestions I could live without, like “Potbelly.” But Lifehacker recently spotlighted the website UEatCheap.com which purports to find you food for under $10 and not all the suggeestions are bad. You can check out the DC area listing here and add anybody you think should be in there. Or just do what we’ve all been doing without the internet and just use the Washingtonian Cheap Eats listing.

Well I used to say something in my profile about not quite being a “tinker, tailor, soldier, or spy” but Tom stole that for our about us page, so I guess I’ll have to find another way to express that I am a man of many interests.

Hmm, guess I just did.

My tastes run the gamut from sophomoric to Shakespeare and in my “professional” life I’ve sold things, served beer, written software, and carried heavy objects… sometimes at the same place. It’s that range of loves and activities that makes it so easy for me to love DC – we’ve got it all.

  1. I just checked 20003 looking for lunch and spotted an error in their listing–Jimmy T’s is not where they say it is, AFAICT. Double-check listings.
