Cast A Sphenisciformes Spell

Earlier this week we sent good joo-joo-bees to the Caps for their game six match against Pittsburgh, and while I’m not going to take credit for the win, I am going to continue sending DC good karma by offering up some Penguin-relative meal options for tonight’s game.

A logical and local choice for avian destruction is El Pollo Rico in Arlington, VA.  Even Anthony Bourdain can’t figure out how this chicken gets so suculent and juicy.  I have no idea how many chicken these guys go through a day, but I’m sure it’s a lot.

If you’re sticking at home to watch the game, how about giving up the pig tonight and sending some winning energy towards the Verizon Center by investing in Turkey Bacon.  It’s lower in fat, but not on taste, and goes particularly well in sammies like Amy’s Triple Decker Turkey Bacon Sandwich.

Or you can just send vibes to Ove by watching this triple threat How to Make A Turducken video.

Go Caps!

BTW: Sphenisciformes is the family group name for all 17 species of penguins.
