Next weekend there are so many free events going on–I’m excited for “Opera in the Outfield,” on Sept. 12. Washington National Opera and the Washington Nationals are hosting a simulcast of “The Barber of Seville” for FREE in Nationals stadium. You can sit in the stands or picnic on the lawn, all of the normal concessions stands are open, and there are going to be activities and giveaways starting at 5:30. All of the info is on the WNO website. Plus there’s the Kennedy Center Open House earlier that day. Can’t Wait!!
