We love, love, love our photographers here at We Love DC, and our super awesome pool of photographers contribute a ton to this site. So, when friends of ours like Derrick Story come to town and bring with them deep discounts on local Photoshop Conferences, we like to try to repay the favor. Check out Derrick’s site for all the details, but you can either win a free pass to Photoshop Live (worth $295!) or get all the details on a less-than-half-price ticket to the event on November 2nd & 3rd. We’ll also be planning a photowalk with Derrick in the coming weeks! Give us ideas as to where you’d like to go exploring in the comments!

I live and work in the District of Columbia. I write at We Love DC, a blog I helped start, I work at Technolutionary, a company I helped start, and I’m happy doing both. I enjoy watching baseball, cooking, and gardening. I grow a mean pepper, keep a clean scorebook, and wash the dishes when I’m done. Read Why I Love DC.

  1. Give a walk tour of DC, not “Washington”. I say, Craftsman bungalows in Ward 3; Garrison St btwm 42nd and 41st has some nice ones.

  2. I like the idea of doing a photowalk in an area of DC not on the National Mall too. Something a little different than what one normally sees of DC.
