I was there in 2007, and there was a major people jam because of the fences. A bunch of people were just not moving, and we were all crushed together. For someone with claustrophobia, it was NOT good. Luckily my friend's boyfriend hopped over a barricade, then pulled it away so we could walk on the street. A bunch of people immediately took the exit he provided. The whole time there was a cop standing around, not interested in solving the problem himself.
