An intrepid group of 25 photographers met last night at the Friendship Arch in Chinatown to explore the neighborhood, take photos, and talk with visiting photo guru Derrick Story. It was a cool fall evening, but the light was good, and the company better still. Dig on deeper for the best of the bunch, or browse the whole tag at Flickr.

I’d love to do another of these during the Holiday Markets in Penn Quarter. Or, if you’ve got suggestions for the next We Love DC Photowalk, please put them in the comments!

I live and work in the District of Columbia. I write at We Love DC, a blog I helped start, I work at Technolutionary, a company I helped start, and I’m happy doing both. I enjoy watching baseball, cooking, and gardening. I grow a mean pepper, keep a clean scorebook, and wash the dishes when I’m done. Read Why I Love DC.

  1. I’m new to the welovedc website, but i didn’t find any direct links to future or upcoming photowalks or how to sign up for notifications. is there a way to do that?

  2. Wow, you guys did awesome! Many tears for missing out, but getting new tires on the car kinda took priority…

I’m down with a holiday one and looking forward to it already!
