On November 1, the day after Halloween, stores seem to think it is the start of the holiday season. You see TV commercials for the holidays already. Can’t they wait until middle November to start putting holiday stuff out? It seems to start earlier every year.

But you know, honor, remembrances, giving thanks for what we already have – those are nice sentiments, but they just don’t bring in cash.
