Darvin Moon of Oakland, Maryland (well west of the Baltimore Beltway) has had an incredible WSOP, taking his $10,000 stake to be worth at least $1.5M, and possibly as much as $8M if he prevails.

Darvin is a logger, and a bit of a luddite, but his slot as #2 in the WSOP right now is pretty impressive. He’s up against poker impresario Joe Cada in the final, and Cada has him 2:1 in chips right now. The Final Showdown starts at 10pm Pacific tonight, or 1am local. Go get ’em Darvin! Here’s to having the nuts.
