If you had tickets to any shows at Ford’s Theater tonight or tomorrow you suddenly have an opening in your schedule. Ford’s Theatre has canceled the following performances of “The Rivalry” and “The Little Shop of Horrors:”

* Friday, February 5, at 7:30 p.m.
* Saturday, February 6, at 2:30 p.m.
* Saturday, February 6, at 7:30 p.m.

Sunday’s 2:30pm showing of “The Rivalry” is still tentatively on, though they’ll let you reschedule for another performance if you like. If they decide to cancel that one they’ll announce by 10am Sunday morning. You can get details on exchanges and contact numbers from their release.

Studio Theater, on the other hand, is pushing on (though they are applying liberal exchange policies) and offering a deal – $30 tickets for tonight’s performance of In The Red and Brown Water if you’ll brave the weather. Call their box office or use the code SNOW.

They’re also still planning on going forward with their annual gala tomorrow so I hope you have some cross-country skis that go with your tux.

Well I used to say something in my profile about not quite being a “tinker, tailor, soldier, or spy” but Tom stole that for our about us page, so I guess I’ll have to find another way to express that I am a man of many interests.

Hmm, guess I just did.

My tastes run the gamut from sophomoric to Shakespeare and in my “professional” life I’ve sold things, served beer, written software, and carried heavy objects… sometimes at the same place. It’s that range of loves and activities that makes it so easy for me to love DC – we’ve got it all.
