Still looking for things to do this holiday weekend?  Why not head over to the Hirshhornto check out the uber-successful Yves Klein:  With theVoid, Full Powers exhibit.  This may be your very last chance to see the work of a creative genius as the exhibit will be closing on September 12th.  You won’t want to miss this one.

Samantha can often be found daydreaming by the Rothkos of the East Gallery, sketching store facades along 14th, and snapping photos with her vintage polaroid at 9:30 club concerts. Since moving to DC in 2007 to get an MFA in Interior Design, her eyes can’t seem to be peeled away from the beautiful things in this city. Send any visual art, architecture, or design related news her way via Samantha (at) WeLoveDC.com

  1. This is an outstanding exhibit. I was not familiar with Klein before coming across it. I have been taking my young sons to the Hirshhorn regularly, and they also really enjoyed the vibrancy of the colors.
