Nicholas Marino did something brave, but deeply, deeply stupid.  He paid a Georgia novelty company to make him fake State Department license plates, and he faked a license decal for his drivers’ license.  This didn’t go over too well during a recent traffic stop, and the cops hauled him off to face charges for his actions.  He admitted his crime, and the 24-year-old will spend 6 months on probation and do 240 hours of community service.

No word on what’s he doing driving around with a suspended DC drivers’ license, though.

I live and work in the District of Columbia. I write at We Love DC, a blog I helped start, I work at Technolutionary, a company I helped start, and I’m happy doing both. I enjoy watching baseball, cooking, and gardening. I grow a mean pepper, keep a clean scorebook, and wash the dishes when I’m done. Read Why I Love DC.
