Now that all the National Zoo’s lion cubs have reached the 12 week mark and had their checkups and vaccinations, they’re being allowed into the outside portion of the lion enclosure for a short time each day, usually between 12:30 and 1:30. Since winter is upon us, weather may restrict their ability to go outside and play, but if you’ve been waiting for your chance to see the cubs while they’re still little and cute, here you go.
