This February, take your love undercover at the International Spy Museum, where they’ve developed a month-long set of activities to spice up the romance at your next rendezvous. From Whoopie Pies to Love a Spy, guests will experience how spies turn up the heat.

Starting February 4th, ISM offers the chance to “Love a Spy” every Friday and Saturday at Spy at Night throughout February. Guests who reserve a Love a Spy package for $100 will receive two Double Agent tickets allowing guests to visit the permanent exhibit and Operation Spy or Spy at Night.

Guests will also enjoy dinner for two at Zola, featuring the new Love a Spy menu. Start off with the Zola mixologists’ latest concoction, the Gold Dust, followed by exclusive dishes from the innovative Chef Bryan Moscatello, and a champagne toast to round out the evening. Menu items include lobster and oyster with cucumber, kumquat, and potato chips; Green Hill Farms lamb with spaghetti squash agnolotti, porcini mushroom jus, and red onion syrup; Dr. Joe’s duck with Okinawa sweets, foie gras custard, and caramelized endive sauce; goat cheddar polenta with carrot fricassee and broccoli pesto; and white and black semi-freddo with olive oil Madeline and yogurt streusel.

On February 11th, Zola Wine & Kitchen will stir up a little romance with a Whoopie Pie Eating Contest. From 5:00 to 8:00 pm, guests receive a free ZWK t-shirt, enjoy a complimentary wine tasting, and the opportunity to participate in the contest. First place prize includes a free cooking class for two and a bottle of a sommelier selected wine. Second and third place prizes will also be awarded along with a raffle prize for dinner for two at Zola. Guests will also enjoy delectable Chocolate Bourbon Whoopie Pies and Irish Cream Whoopie Pies while making little frosted whoopie pies to take home free for their sweetheart.

To continue the Valentine’s Day theme, ISM will host Sexpionage: Spies, Lies and Naked Thighs on February 7th. International Spy Museum Board Member, retired FBI supervisory special agent, and owner/founder of the Centre for Counterintelligence and Security Studies, David G. Major will reveal how seduction is used as a tool to attract and manipulate assets, to coerce and/or attempt to coerce and compromise targets, and to control spies in both reality and fiction. Major will tell all about the spies who stop at nothing to get their man—or woman! Guests will enjoy a Zola Choctini as they gather essential knowledge for any questionable or suspicious relationship.

The International Spy Museum is located at 800 F. Street NW and is accessible by Metro on the Red, Yellow, and Green line through the Gallery Place/Chinatown Metro stop.
