MASN Introduces Nationals Buzz Guest Bloggers

As a few of you know, last year was my first full-season covering the Washington Nationals. Tom Bridge and I had the privilege of bringing you the latest news from Nationals Park during each home game. This summer, Dan Rowinski joins us in our effort to cover baseball in Washington.

During the off season, MASN Sports inquired about whether or not I would be interested in joining a small group of Nats bloggers as part of their effort to expand the voices heard on their Nationals Buzz blog. My first thought was: “I’d be a fool to turn down a chance to talk baseball more often than I already do.”

Fast-forward to April and the guest voices of Nats Buzz have now joined the blog’s veteran scribe, Kristen Hudak.

My fellow Nats Buzz guest bloggers include: Dave Nichols from Nats News Network, Will Yoder of The Nats Blog and Drew Kinback of Nationals Inquisition. After the All-Star Break, more voices will be added to the mix but for now this a knowledgeable group of reliable voices in the Nats blogesphere. If you haven’t heard of Dave, Will or Drew before and love baseball, I recomend giving them a read.

Rachel moved to DC in the fall of 2005 to study Journalism and Music at American University. When she’s not keeping up with the latest Major League Baseball news, she works on making music as an accomplished singer-songwriter and was even a featured performer/speaker at TEDxDupont Circle in 2012. Rachel has also contributed to The Washington Examiner and MASN Sports’ Nationals Buzz as a guest blogger. See why she loves DC. E-Mail: rachel@welovedc.com.
