Week in Review: 5/12-5/15

It’s that time again: The dog days of summer are just around the corner. The mercury hit 90 degrees on Tuesday and if you’ve spent a summer in the city beautiful, you know there are plenty of hot days and sultry nights ahead. (Of course, after the crazy winter and spring we’ve had, you might not want to pack those sweaters away just yet.)

How hot did it get this week? Apparently, hot enough that even the Washington Monument needed some shade during its grand re-opening on Monday. If you think I’m kidding, just check out this week’s photos.
