Welcome my little interns

Sitting out by the Capitol Building the other day, I was struck by the beauty of the new interns. More than a girl on a park bench, they seemed all fired up to be in DC, a welcome change in my jaded life. I did want to warn them, to give them a heads-up for what they were in for.

The backstabbing, double-talking, cheapskates that they would have to call boss, co-worker, lover, but alas, as with everything else, a Craigslist post already explains it all – Welcome my little interns

Yes, welcome to DC, now put your guard up.
