Art on the Chilly Avenue

Well, Art on the Avenue isn’t as sunny and warm as last year but this one is just as well attended, it seems. This is the view out of my booth, where you can come buy a Nice Mirror, but if that’s not your style there’s a lot of other great stuff here. And the food…. between the BBQ across the street from me and the crab cake booth next to me (do the organizers WANT me to get fat fatter?) and the brats and indian food down the road there’s something for everyone. And that’s just on the 1/4 of the stretch I’ve had a chance to check out.

Come by – the show’s going on for another 5 hours till 6pm. Once we’re gone it’ll be another year…..

Well I used to say something in my profile about not quite being a “tinker, tailor, soldier, or spy” but Tom stole that for our about us page, so I guess I’ll have to find another way to express that I am a man of many interests.

Hmm, guess I just did.

My tastes run the gamut from sophomoric to Shakespeare and in my “professional” life I’ve sold things, served beer, written software, and carried heavy objects… sometimes at the same place. It’s that range of loves and activities that makes it so easy for me to love DC – we’ve got it all.
