NOW GO VOTE.

Today is Tuesday, April 26th, and that means that it’s Special Election day.  Up for grabs today are At-Large Council seat (citywide) and State Board of Education (two seats, Wards 4 & 8), so voting will take all of about 5 minutes.

Not sure where to vote? There’s a polling place finder so you can get to the right place.

Not registered? DC allows for same-day registration with proof of residency (must have been here at least 30 days), so you can fill out a few forms at the precinct and get your vote on right away.

If you’re looking for who to vote for, We Love DC is not endorsing a candidate, but you can read my personal thoughts on the At-Large race (recognizing they do not constitute a site-wide endorsement).

I live and work in the District of Columbia. I write at We Love DC, a blog I helped start, I work at Technolutionary, a company I helped start, and I’m happy doing both. I enjoy watching baseball, cooking, and gardening. I grow a mean pepper, keep a clean scorebook, and wash the dishes when I’m done. Read Why I Love DC.
