And the coffee kerfuffle heads to the big leagues…

Well, big media anyway. Tom tells me that a reporter for the Washington Post was in Murky today talking to owner Nick Cho and barrista David about the recent tempest in a teapot coffee cup. The Murky staff was given the impression the story would run in tomorrow’s Metro section, but there’s always the possibility it’ll be up on before that point. Last I heard about it a year or two ago it was the decision of the writer whether they wanted to engage in advance web publication, don’t know if that’s still the case.

Well I used to say something in my profile about not quite being a “tinker, tailor, soldier, or spy” but Tom stole that for our about us page, so I guess I’ll have to find another way to express that I am a man of many interests.

Hmm, guess I just did.

My tastes run the gamut from sophomoric to Shakespeare and in my “professional” life I’ve sold things, served beer, written software, and carried heavy objects… sometimes at the same place. It’s that range of loves and activities that makes it so easy for me to love DC – we’ve got it all.

  1. Yeah. I got a call from the guy and spoke with him for a few minutes. Funny – he didn’t really have many questions for me. Was curious why he called.
