Halloween Candy

The National Confectioners’ Association here in DC is putting on a contest to win 10 pounds of sweet sweet halloween candy. All you have to do to enter is tell your favorite halloween candy story in the comments on their blog. And then you can make yourself really, really sick off the stuff.

XML, or the Extensible Markup Language, is a wonderful data format that can be used for almost anything. On this site, it's being used to syndicate content in what's called "RSS", and that's what you can get here in a variety of feeds. New to news feeds? Read this article from the BBC.
