Anyone else catch that lovely rainbow this afternoon around sunset? I was showing a friend around Air and Space at the time, and we spotted this behind the Skylab mockup just as we were on our way to check out the simulators. Just seeing that arc makes the humidity and thunderstorms today worth it.
brownpau: Roving Asian mendicant, can occasionally be seen wandering the streets of downtown Washington, muttering unintelligible gibberish to passers-by while pushing a "bag lady" shopping cart full of old blankets, American flags, soda cans, and healthy secondhand snacks from organic food shop dumpsters. Used to live in a cardboard box at 16th and K but the rent was too expensive.
XML, or the Extensible Markup Language, is a wonderful data format that can be used for almost anything. On this site, it's being used to syndicate content in what's called "RSS", and that's what you can get here in a variety of feeds. New to news feeds? Read this article from the BBC.

I was crossing the Memorial Bridge while out on a run and saw it as well. Almost made up for being completely drenched.
