Just in time for the Thanksgiving rush, Dulles is opening their fourth runway. This will allow yet more landings & takeoffs, and will hopefully allow the airport to handle a bit more traffic without congestion.

It’s great that Dulles will be able to accommodate more flights. And with the completion of the AeroTrain (I think 2009?), they’ll be able to shuttle more people to their gates. But what are they doing to make sure security lines don’t get out of hand?
