Neighborhood Snow Plow Check
While DC has been quite efficient in plowing the main roads, I had no trouble driving to the White House at 8am, what’s the situation in your neighbourhood? Especially now that most folks need to commute to work. Here in Petworth, New Hampshire Avenue and Upshur Street NW are both passable, if a little muddy, but the side roads are still piled high in Snowpocalypse drifts. I’ve watched several cars fail to make the gentle Varnum Street Hill from Grant Circle eastbound. Is that the same on Capitol Hill? Dupont? Or Brightwood? Shout out and let us know if you’ve seen Mr. Snowplow on your block yet.

ARLINGTON WAS A DISASTER. Wilson, Clarendon, and the sidewalks were terrible. UGH, eff you, feds, eff you. Work = DO NOT WANT.

You drive from Petworth to the White house????? Never heard of public transport?

I drove from Petworth to GW hospital to be accurate. The White House was a fun pass-by on the way home. Today I even did it in a SUV!
Usually, Batgirl, I don’t commute at all, I work from home. Which has even more green cred than whatever transport you took this morning.

And to get us back on-topic, the snow plows (big diesel polluting trucks, Batgirl) came through the side streets of Petworth around noon today. Our streets are passable now.
