D.C. under-represented in logo panties as well as congress

Georgetown’s Vox Populi reports that the incoming class is working hard to get Victoria’s Secret to expand their offerings in their Collegiate Collection.

No, I didn’t know that Victoria’s Secret sold college logo-wear either.

Anyway, the only District school to be represented among their current offerings is Howard University. University of Virginia and Virginia Tech, on the other hand, are among the current selection. Could be worse: there’s not a single Maryland school offered.

If you think Georgetown, American University or George Washington should be in the collection you can go over to VS’s nomination page and punch them in. Be prepared for disappointment, however: of the three only AU is “on the board” with about 20,000 votes and holding 21st place. Georgetown is #50 and GW is #39, but perhaps your vote could help change that.

They had UMD stuff sometime last year. I was really hoping to have “Fear the Turtle” scrawled across my a**, but unfortunately the offerings were far tamer.

The double entendre there is delightfully wrong.
