WTF CNN!
CNN Money’s “How far will my salary go in another city” calculator doesn’t include DC!
How am I supposed to figure out how much farther my hard earned DC bucks could go in Sheboygan, WI or Carlsbad, NM?!!!

XML, or the Extensible Markup Language, is a wonderful data format that can be used for almost anything. On this site, it's being used to syndicate content in what's called "RSS", and that's what you can get here in a variety of feeds. New to news feeds? Read this article from the BBC.

I noticed this a few days ago, just select Virginia as your state and Washington is one of the city choices.

At least it’s actually the DC area, instead of Washington, VA in Rappahannock County. I once had an employer withhold VA state tax because an HR person selected the wrong Washington. Luckily I caught it on my first pay stub.
