CNN Money’s “How far will my salary go in another city” calculator doesn’t include DC!
How am I supposed to figure out how much farther my hard earned DC bucks could go in Sheboygan, WI or Carlsbad, NM?!!!

She spends her days strategizing/planning/ideating how interactive products can help her clients and change the world. In her free time, she explores DC’s ever expanding bar, restaurant and small business scene, plays a crap ton of soccer, attends concerts that contribute to her sleep deprivation and embarks on local adventures. I noticed this a few days ago, just select Virginia as your state and Washington is one of the city choices.
@Russell Thanks for the information. Wonder what the “thought” process behind that stellar move in user experience design.
At least it’s actually the DC area, instead of Washington, VA in Rappahannock County. I once had an employer withhold VA state tax because an HR person selected the wrong Washington. Luckily I caught it on my first pay stub.
Gah. Link fail. That link should go here.
