  1. Given the stylistic allusion to Carles and reference to the meta-humour of the work in the concluding note, one can deduce that this blog post should be interpreted as a joke. As to if The Roots have released relevant music in a long time – or, some would say, a thoroughly consistent and valuable album ever – remains an open question.
