We’re just a week out from the Keith Urban show at Verizon Center, and boy do we have a surprise for a lucky reader. We’ve got a pair of tickets for the Keith Urban/Jake Owen show next Thursday! So get your commenter fingers ready, and click through for the details. You MUST enter by 4pm tomorrow, and we’ll contact the winner by email, so make sure you use the right email address in the comments.
For the rules of this giveaway…
Comments will be closed at 4pm, Friday 22 July, and a winner will be randomly selected. The winner will be notified by email. The winner must respond to our email in 24 hours or they will forfeit their tickets and we will pick another winner.
Tickets will be available to the winner at the Verizon Center Will Call window 90 minutes before doors open on the night of the concert. The tickets must be claimed with a valid ID. The winner must be old enough to attend the specific concert or must have a parent’s permission to enter if he/she is under 18 years old.

I must say – I was disappointed to learn that DC is not the biggest country music city when I moved here almost a year ago. Keith Urban is one of my favorite country artists, who I have never seen live. Did you know Keith Urban wrote the song, “Put you in a song” about my friend Hutto? He was so impressed by how much he loved his girl friend that he had to pen quotes down from him and make it into a song.

Really NEED a break from the hustle and bustle. A Thursday night getaway, ESPECIALLY WITH KEITH URBAN, would be ideal. I’ve wrecked my car, fallen off of my bike thrice that I must use instead of a car (in this hot VA weather), and Been laid off from one of my part time jobs. All that being said, Even if I wanted to, I couldn’t buy a ticket or get to the concert. Thanks for your time, and I’m glad I got to enter! Yay country music in Northern Virginia!
