Fashion:District IV Announced
ReadySetDC has announced the details of their fourth Fashion:District event. Featuring autumn and winter collections from local designers like DeNada Design, Ginger Root Design, and Hugh & Crye, the premiere DC fashion event has now been expanded to an entire weekend.
The runway show (and festive party) will take place on Saturday night in a new venue – the historic North Hall of Eastern Market. All indications are that it will be as fun and well-produced as in previous seasons.
To augment the Saturday night centerpiece, there will be two additional events this time: A Friday evening “Meet & Greet” reception with the showing designers and a Sunday opportunity to shop the collections. Tickets to the Saturday show are $41.99 (the first 100 tickets sold will include a special gift bag), the other events are free to attend.
Oh, and it also happens to be this blogger’s birthday that weekend, so I shall just assume this was all intended to be my party.
