We here at the Wayan homestead are in a fight over the heat. As you can see, Taxi, like I is chilled by these
50 degree freezing(!) nights than only make it to 72 in the day. Yet my hot pregnant wife is refusing to heat the house.
While I have no hope of hot air, what’s the verdict in your home? Heat yet?
Or do you just snuggle with cold feet, determined to save a few pennies while embracing the fall chill?
we still have some of our windows open.
My cold, black heart requires little warmth, though my darling fiancée is chilly. We’ve tossed a heating blanket on her side of the bed and continued on without the radiators… for now.
awww, that picture of taxi is adorable!
We kept the heat off last night, though I think I might test-fire the furnace tonight to make sure we don’t need Frosty’s to come by before it really gets cold!
These are not 50 degree nights, not with the frost on the grass I saw this morning. We’re literally freezing here kids – lets turn on the heat!
Put on a sweatshirt and keep the heat off!
Looks like we’re going to need to get Dr Phil in to guest blog some marital relations features….
Honey, I do have a sweater on – and pants and shirt, and wool socks. Its cold in here! I refuse to type in gloves.
Since we replaced our windows a couple of winters ago, I’ve found that I’m happy turning on the heat much later in the season. But I actually like sitting under a big fluffy blanket on the couch. And we haven’t even gotten out the down comforter yet, though it might be about time for that.
Tiff (and Wayan) – you need a slanket!
Oh my God, the Slanket may just have changed my life forever.
OMG. I need a Slanket so I can enjoy my balcony all winter long. It’s definitely going to be this year’s answer to dad’s “What do you want for your birthday?” which should be happening in a few weeks…
