Modified Speed Hump Sign on Monroe Street NW, by Mr. T in DC
The photo is a year and a half old, but it just made it into our Flickr pool, so it’s new to me. And it entertained me thoroughly. If you can’t read the sign, be sure to click through. And I agree, Mr. T, the grammatical error just adds to the comic effect. I almost regret that it’s not immortalized this way in Google Street View. (Yes, of COURSE I checked.)

XML, or the Extensible Markup Language, is a wonderful data format that can be used for almost anything. On this site, it's being used to syndicate content in what's called "RSS", and that's what you can get here in a variety of feeds. New to news feeds? Read this article from the BBC.

That’s because you have the wrong sign. The correct sign is at 1558. However, it’s fairly blurry and not easy to read the, um, inscription.

Thanks. Mr. T in DC indicated it was in the 1400 block, so that was where I looked.
