The Winning Ticket: Gogol Bordello w/ Trouble Funk on NYE
As a way to say thanks to our loyal readers, We Love DC will be giving away a pair of tickets to a 9:30 Club concert to one lucky reader each week. Check back here every Wednesday morning at 9am to find out what tickets we’re giving away and leave a comment for your chance to be the lucky winner!
This week we are hooking you up for New Year’s Eve with a pair of tickets to what is sure to be the most insane party in town. Prepare yourself for the volcanic volatile mix of Trouble Funk performing with Gogol Bordello on New Year’s Eve! The party prowess of these two bands is the stuff of legend. Only the mad genius programmers of 9:30 Club would dare put them together in the same room on the biggest party night of the year. You want a NYE to remember; one you’ll tell stories about for months? This is it! Just remember when telling the tale to mention that you won your tix to this SOLD OUT shindig from We Love DC. For your chance to win these tickets simply leave a comment on this post using a valid email address between 9am and 4pm today. One entry per email address, please. If today doesn’t turn out to be your lucky day, check back here each Wednesday for a chance to win tickets to other great concerts.
For the rules of this giveaway…
Comments will be closed at 4pm and a winner will be randomly selected. The winner will be notified by email. The winner must respond to our email within 24 hours or they will forfeit their tickets and we will pick another winner.
Tickets will be available to the winner at the 9:30 Club Guest List window one hour before doors open on the night of the concert. The tickets must be claimed with a valid ID. The winner must be old enough to attend the specific concert or must have a parent’s permission to enter if he/she is under 18 years old.

All my friends bought tickets to this concert, but I didn’t because I assumed I’d be working. Then on November 28 I had a stroke. Now I’m home for the holidays and pretty much up and about. I’d love to spend New Year’s Eve with my friends if only this concert weren’t sold out. I’m hoping I’ll win a ticket to be able to go with them.
