Frank Warren Teams Up With Bluebrain For Artisphere Show
We love Frank Warren (the man behind PostSecret) and we love BlueBrain. This Saturday they are teaming up for a special show and fundraiser at Artisphere benefiting Hopeline. I’ve had the wonderful fortune to get to know Frank over the past few years and when I heard his PostSecret Tour was heading to Rosslyn’s Artisphere I thought it was a good opportunity to catch up with our old friend and see what’s in store for this weekend and what’s on the horizon for the PostSecret project.
Warren told me he was thrilled to do a show with the Brooklyn-born, DC-based music group. Combining the his visuals with other’s audio have has been a winning recipe in the past, “when we combine secrets and live music we get a strong, positive response.” You can also expect a brand new video featuring never before seen secrets.
After six years and half a million secrets, the PostSecret project continues to break new ground. Frank says there will be an upcoming exhibition at the MoMA and he’s looking forward to taking the tour overseas to China and Australia. I asked him what it would be like to take PostSecret to China, a place with so many secrets, and he enlightened me with a different view of it.
“There maybe more secrets there but they are more upfront about it, they are all aware of [the restrictions].”
Other future plans include an iPhone Application, new initiatives on the PostSecret Twitter handle, and a stage play based on the project that is already in development.

The Fine Print:
Comments will be closed on Wednesday March 30th at 5pm and a winner will be randomly selected. The winner will be notified by email. The winner must respond to our email within 24 hours or they will forfeit their tickets and we will pick another winner.
Tickets will be available to the winner at Will-Call on the day of the show. The tickets must be claimed with a valid ID. The winner must be old enough to attend the show or must have a parent’s permission to enter if he/she is under 18 years old.

My boyfriend and I spent a year living more than $4,000 miles apart. Something we did every Sunday was check Post Secret and talk about it over Google Video chat. Would love to see an event in person now that he’s back east!
